Marketers are using "Retargeting" to repeat the ads you see.

"Remarketing" is the new buzz word in digital advertising.

When a marketer wants to follow you, they use a simple technology called "remarketing." This is a small snippet of java script code or a "cookie" that is placed on your computer and with the use of your browser. These cookies  are  smart and remembers what you like and where you spend your time on the internet. Advertisers want to know this information and will pay a high view/click rate to have these ads served up to you.

As marketers we want to use this technology to develop our audience and customer base.

In Facebook this small code is called a "pixel" or a cookie. Its placed on the visitor's computer,  like a bookmark and has no effect on the overall performance of a computer except to know your interests. The ad network like Facebook or Linked in or Google will be looking for these small clips of code and serve up the ads to your customers.

Targeting people is a  true secret of online marketing and having efficient simple technology is very smart to use.

Many people over react to ads that are following them, but the fact is they are interested in the content subject and displayed some degree of action to verify.
