Expand your Vision Center and Acquire New Patients through Digital Marketing Push360

Marketing isn’t a one size fits all solution. Within each industry there are additional tips and tricks to bring in more clients- or, in this case, patients. Here are 10 tips to grow your company and find more cataract and glaucoma patients in your area.

Educate your future customers.

Cataract and Glaucoma Surgeries are a big decision requiring substantial research before hand. Providing easy to understand, comforting content builds trust with current and future clients during a time of potential fear or anxiety. This creates a relationship with your clients and moves them through the sales cycle. Create this content with your clients in mind, what are the biggest questions they have?

Drive leads with quality content.

Offer guides, infographics, and white pages to your clients in exchange for their email. It takes multiple engagements before potential clients have the trust to buy. You can add these potential clients to your email marketing campaigns, keeping your name in their focus.

Remember who is doing the research.

You may think it’s the patient, but that’s not always the case. Maybe they’re unable due to their cataract or glaucoma, or maybe they’re not familiar enough with technology to do it themselves. Frequently a child of an aging parent is doing the bulk of the research. Keep this in mind as you create your marketing material.

Have a clear value proposition.

Why should your patients go to you and not your main competitor? This information needs to be easily accessible, and persuasive enough to stick. Conditions like cataracts and glaucoma almost certainly result in treatment, the battle here is to convince them to receive that treatment from you.

Include Multiple Calls to Action- but don’t be pushy.

Make it easy for your patients to contact you without coming off as aggressive. The best way to do this is to have 2-3 call to actions on your main page, such as “schedule your appointment today” or “call now.” Having multiple on a page encourages clients to reach out. Additionally, make it as easy as possible for your clients to reach you. Display your phone number prominently and consider a contact form at the bottom of each page.

Use Retargeting

Retargeting allows you to reach clients across multiple platforms. If a patient accesses your site then logs into facebook for example, they will see an ad for your clinic. This is a great way to keep your practice in mind.

Follow Up Quickly.

When a patient fills out your contact form get back to them as quickly as you can. This shows  you are taking their eye health seriously. Additionally, try and schedule their first appointment as soon as your schedule will allow.

Utilize Video.

High quality video is the best way to engage your clients quickly. You have an excellent opportunity to create trust by including you and your staff in your videos. Include them on your website to engage with new clients, and play them in your waiting room to optimize the time you have with them. High quality video reassures clients you’re knowledgeable and helps them feel like they already know you.

The opposite is also true, low quality videos may portray you as cheap, scammy, or unprofessional, damaging your reputation. Make the investment up front to establish yourself as a professional, modern company.  At Push360 we understand the importance of video that wows. That’s we offer on site cinema quality video production.  Here's a great example of how to build trust through video.

Watch your online reviews.

Potential clients are going to research you as much as they can prior to making such an important decision about their health. If you have negative reviews on Facebook, Google, Yelp, or other review sites it will detract from the credibility you’ve worked so hard to create. If you do find negative reviews, you can work with the platform to get it removed or talk to the patient directly to see if you can ease their frustrations.
