Letting go of what is not working .... for better marketing.

Often times when we speak to small businesses for the first time they have an idea of what they want their brand to do, how they want it to perform, but they might be holding on to old ideas that are not working today. Branding building today is based on the same principles as the last 50 years - but the speed and frequency of brand messaging and the tools are now different.
For most brands, good messaging is the icing on the cake. The core of the cake has to be really tasty too. Every member on the team needs to participate in branding in every possible way, but only if you want it to be successful.
John Legere, CEO of T-Mobile pointed out to Entrepreneur.com that every business owner and manager need to "Eat, Sleep and Breath Your Brand." No kidding, to drive this point home John Legere's team stated, "I can’t think of a time I’ve seen Legere wearing something that wasn’t branded with the T-Mobile logo or its magenta color. He loves the brand, believes in the brand and eats, sleeps and breathes T-Mobile.
Good thing our team at PushMobileMedia has an internal entrepreneur who designs for her own T-Shirt shop. I think I'm going to ask her to start the process of designing our branded shirts for our team. We all can do a little more to support our own brands. Lets get rid of the over priced outfits and get back to wearing PushMobileMedia T-Shirts.
